On Monday 16 November 20 year 9s from our school went to wellington for a school trip we travelled to auckland on a bus once we arrived at the airport we went to collect our tickets maybe 10-20 minutes later we headed onto the plane and because i haven't been on a pane i panicked and cried as the plane took off when we got up in the air it wasn't as bad as i thought it was then when it was time for landing i didn't really mind because it wasn't as bad as it was taking off so we got off the plane and went outside to wait for our vans once the vans arrived we got in bit by bit and we went to the National library they showed us around we went into the special room to sing Te Aroha the waiata then after we finished the waiata we went downstairs to see the books we had a look down there then we come back up went into the room and i started off Te Tai Whakaronga then headed back to our rooms.
The next day 17 November we went to the parliament to look around we had a guide we had to wear these stickers so the security new we were on a school tour we went to the debating chamber and we went everywhere in the parliament i just can't think the trip was that fun after we finished at the parliament we said our thank yous and finished with a waiata and went outside we had to wait because we were having fish and chips so some of the year 9s played on the slide that was there then maybe around 30 minutes later the teachers and some boys walked down the footpath with the food we got our food and sat down oh and we grabbed us a can of drink that they brought after that we went to Te Papa Museum and looked around we done a lot of walking then got to explore around by ourselves around maybe 45minutes later we all met up and got ready to leave we get back
To our rooms and chill for a bit get dressed and go out for dinner we went this place they had nice food
Last day 18 November we had a free morning so us year 9s thats went we went in the lounge and chilled and kicked back in there and played music and was talking and laughing then one of the year 9s come in and said
“Whaea annette said yous have to come up stairs”
So we all headed up stairs to our meeting room and our teacher told us to go pack. We were heading off so before we even came up Tahlya already cleaned up the room and went outside to wait for the vans once we got on the vans we headed to Bowlerama and we did bowling it was so fun we stayed there for 2 -½ hours then we finished up and i discovered me a cousin that i didn't know was my cousin her name is Manaia Hereora we were buzzing out when we found out then our vans arrived and we jumped in there were 3 vans we travelled to the airport and we got our tickets sat down for a bit then headed to the plane we got in i sat in the wrong seat because im scared of heights then whaea Annette moved me down by her i sat down buckled in and when we took off i panicked and had a few tears then we were up in the air and i was good and the landing i was alright with then we got on the ground hoped on our bus then watched a movie and i fell asleep then i fell this person saying
‘Hey honey can i set next to you so i can watch a movie’
As we are travelling home I'm just staring out the window as hours pass. I'm sitting there bored then we reach Kawakawa and I'm so happy to be home then I hop off the bus and walk home .
